About Brittany

Brittany was known as Britt Britt by family and close friends. Brittany had a wonderful disposition  even as a baby and young child. This character trait grew into her being a happy, cheerful, friendly, respectful and loving young woman who welcomed all she met with a smile.

Brittany LOVED to celebrate her family and friends accomplishments and when God open this opportunity for us to start a new business venture in the special  events industry, my family wanted to offer our family, friends and our clients who prefers an upscale venue with traditional values bringing Class, Elegance and Sophistication to your special celebrations.

The Britt Event Center was the perfect name! This namesake venue embodies our late daughter's love of celebrating people all while keeping our brand of class, elegance and sophistication.

Brittany was a nurse and a Army wife of Mr. Oswell and she started her college education at Lander University and alter received her degree from ECPI University. Brittany became a licensed  LPN in 2014 and prior to Brittany's completion of her first tier of nursing, she worked as a full time CNA at an assisted living facility and later as a Med Tech. We loved Brittany's relentless efforts as she had her sights set on becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

Although Brittany didn't get the opportunity to continue her pursuit and life long dream of achieving the highest level in nursing, we established a nonprofit organization in Brittany's name which gives us the opportunity along with some of our faithful family and wonderful friends to raise money annually in April to award deserving nursing students with a scholarship in memory of Brittany's impactful life and love of all people. We accept donations year round through the foundation website.
